What is Narcotics Anonymous?

Narcotics Anonymous is a global community of recovering addicts helping each other stay clean. We follow a twelve-step program for personal recovery and spiritual growth. We meet regularly to share our experience, strength, and hope with each other.

Through mutual member support and guidance through the steps, we help each other live drug-free lives. We believe addiction is a disease from which recovery is possible through participation in our program. We welcome all addicts, regardless of their drug of choice or personal circumstances. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using drugs.

Here are some questions that may help you determine if you have a problem with addiction:

• Do you use drugs regularly despite problems in relationships and work?
• Have you found it difficult to stop despite repeated attempts?
• Do you think about drugs most of the time?
• Do you feel powerless and out of control with your drug use?
